Ok i know what your gonna say... ill get me A$$ handed to me, ill get schooled, doors blown off. Yeah i know i will. My friend just got a '90 300zxtt with a borla exhaust and an intake. Its something just over 300 hp id say. Until now, my max has been the fastest of our cars. Now for ***** and giggles he said we should race once just to see how the turbos do. Will i be able to hang anywhere close to him at all or will it be over soon as it begins?? Thanks. And to avoid the flaming, I KNOW ILL LOSE

 

Hope he can't drive it that well yet and will mess up on the shifts so don't give up hope... give it a shot.

The stock TT runs like 13.9 i think.. with some mods it will be quicker by a few tenths.. If he can't launch it or shift well, you'll jump on him since you are already accustomed to your car and he's not to his.. but when you guys reach speed and the boost kicks in he'll pull in quick... this is just my inference/guess...

 

Get a Y-pipe and full catback, then race him... He will still beat you badly off the line and keep pulling, but at least it won't be so ugly BTW, you can always add some Nitrous to scare the **** out of him!

 

or just load his car with bricks when he's not looking and pee in his gas tank before the race

 

Yeah ive been thinking about the NOS idea for a long time, guess a 50 shot or so along with an intake and an exhaust could still keep me close enough to see his car. Sad part is, we are pretty even on the driving side of things so itll be a whooping

 

 

According to car-stats.com, the 300ZX TT in 90 did the 1/4 in 14.4. BTW, nitrous will not only scared him, but also outrun him.

 

Ok well i did some hunting and would a 60 shot be much help, i figure its not 100 shot but its still something. That plus a y-pipe and will make about say 70 hp extra..... not bad
