I'm thinking about upgrading to 18" wheels...opinions on Konig Verdicts & others?

Hey guys,

I'm currently running 17"x8" Konig Villain Wheels w/ 235/45ZR-17 Kumho Tires. After going to the NE meet and seeing some sweet Maximas, I'm really considering upgrading to 18" wheels. I really liked how the Konig Verdict wheels looked on Delos's Maxima. I'm considering those in 18"x8" with the Kumho Tires. What do you guys think?

I'm debating between the Silver and Black Opal. I like the Black Opal because it will be something different that not too many people have, but I don't know if it will go with the Dark Green color of my Maxima.

I also like:
Mille Miglia Evo5
SSR GT1
ADR GT-Sport
Axis Hagen (if it came in 18")

I've also been checking out the Racing Hart, Katana, and other wheels too. I really don't know what I want yet. I'm kinda set on the Verdicts right now, but I just don't know what color to get. I think the Black Opal will really set my Maxima apart because most of them have silver. I wish I could see it in person to see if I like the color.

Any input, suggestions, or comments are welcome.

Later,
-Nick

Heh Nick,

If you decide to go to 18" wheels, let me know. I might be interested in buying your 17" wheels and tires.

when did you get the Villains?

They are nice.. But I like the Evos a lot, the SSRs are good too, but they are pricey..

All of them weigh a lot too, except the SSRs..

Pics of your car with the Villains?

unless you are getting forged 18's, they will be really heavy.. make acceleration/braking worse..

if you are into performance, get some racing harts or volks forged rims.

I definatally agree...I really wanted 18's but settled on 17's becuase they save most of the performance. If you want really lightweight 18's it'll cost you big bucks. 18's also have more rotational mass so no matter how light they are the engine still has to work hard becuase they are so big.

BTW, check your Private messages, Bacid.
