Engine Management?

Hello,

I was curious how the turbo'ed maxima's out there handle engine management? Are there any PNP applications for the Maxima? (similar to the Hondata and AMS EMS systems for the Honda camp) Or do you have to get a complete standalone system that requires replacing all sensors, etc...

Thanks in Advance.

Right now there are no PNP type systems like those for the Honda. That Hondata system is great. Retains the oem warm ups, ac, etc..but makes the ign/fuel adjustable for boost etc.. Simply great. Most of the 4-gen guys w/ sc or turbos are just running boost referenced FPRs or switching to an 100% stand alones. MardiGras pioneered the first 4-gen J&S knock sensor ignition retard system for boosted maximas. Check the General forum stickies for more info. For low boost applications, the FPR seems to work well.
