Thanks to FJC I was able to chop them as they would look with the Skyline conversion....

I don't think they look to bad. Definitely original.

With the skyline conversion I think those look really good. I wish someone would start producing altezzas with the skyline conversion already done.

Skyline looks really good, regular looks really crappy. I agree with whoever said that the Max is getting more aftermarket support, definately true and very nice to see. More and more of the vendors that visit the store I run have Maxima stuff now, before they had nothing.

Does that picture above remind anybody else of the Chevy Impala, or is it just me? I don't know why that's what it made me think of

I think it looks better than the regular altezzas, though, when it is painted black like that. But still, I like the red/clear lights better.

i remember a thread about two weeks ago when someone photochopped his to make them look like this and everyone hated it, and turns out they really make them now. i wouldn't say i hate them, i'd be interested to see how they actually look on a car. i'll tell you guys what, if you want to buy a pair i'll put em on so you can all see if you like them or not? how's that?...
atleast we have some aftermarket support slowly growing...it's a start.

That is because you are new, and you haven't been "seven of nine'd" yet!!

Just kidding...

If you put a red bulb in the outer, the reflector would kinda turn red. That would make it look better, and the clear within red circle on the inner would still look fine.....the red on the side is different, but I think I like it lots better than the Gen1's

I agree and personally, I like these and mine. Just think, if no one bought Altezza's, there would be less of a market for aftermarket parts for our cars, even though you may not like them, we're helping out in the long run!

And the red/clears look like the lights on a Toyata Corolla. There is nothing new under the sun. Just warmed over gravy.

Hey, they do... only upside-down. Wow. Nothing new.

You have to admit they look better than the orange that comes stock (at least I think so). But altezzas? That's another story...

Most of the Big Wheeler, Red/Clears Maxxers never noticed this either. But yes, they does look better the orange stock.

Looks like a Japanese tourist w/ eyeglasses on vacation. Why do people want Skyline rear lights anyway? Those look terrible also.

I thinkg there better looking than the originals. Come to think of it, I don't think the majority of people on this forum will ever like anything altezza no matter how good it looks. I might consider these if they look good on 95-96 maxes. Plus the $180 price isn't that bad. It looks like a better investment than buying red/clears for $200 which most people don't seem to notice anyway like they will with the altezzas. That's just my opinion.

I think they look alot better than the regular altezzas...I bet they wouldnt look bad if the reflector part was black instead like the photochopped pic.

95-96

I have a 95 se. and I like to get a set of these gen2 altezza. I already have the chrome 1st gen and sick of them and everyone in my town is getting them. I called up www.procarparts.com and they said they do not have them. I would like to get a set of these and the black chrome ones for my 95. Where can I get them for cheap? I do not want to buy from custommaxima.com. In addition, we should try to get the Mercedes blinking mirrors back for sale.

what if you just painted them with some spray tint completely so that you couldn't really see them in the day, but you would see the red circles at nite? i was thinking about doin this to my gen 1 altezzas, and was wondering what y'all thought
