I just slapped it on the car, the picture distorted a little because of the resize, but you get the idea. I think it looks great for a dark car!

Oh lol im talking about the car. I do not want to spray paint lol... I tried making vw golf clear one time for a friend and I got rip-off mad hard like 200 because I could not do it after I took it apart. Therefore, I do not want to take mine apart and not be able to do it. AGAIN... also, the ideal of spray paint it is going to look hacked... not match up. Like my friends body shop say “u wreck them ... we hack them" lol

photochopped gen 2

I kind of like the new ones, the look kinda cheesy by themselves but check out how good they look on this photochop i just did, tell me what you think. I had to rebuild one of the corners of each taillight though since in the picture there is a logo blocking it

Absolutely!!! But yours look nice! I have entertained the idea of Altezza's but finally I cleared mine tonight. Everyone talks about the lense cracking, light covers hard to cut. I say it was pretty easy. It was the hottest day so far here in Oregon, so the clue and sealant were already soft, easy to take out. I just used heat gun and dremel to cut, took about 2 hours total, my first two pieces of covers came out perfect. Do the cleared tails, you'll be more proud of yourself then spending $180, plus turn signals are definitely bright! I have a Sterling Mist Max, Altezza's definitely will NOT go well with my color, doesn't matter if it's Gen 1 or 2. And have you ever seen an altezza's up close and personal? They are of very poor quality.

I don't think they look to bad. Definitely original.

I actually like the way it looks on this car, with the black borders and all.

my car is white, so it wouldn't look good on it.

I think they would look great on a ruby pearl max. However, I can't decide on whether it would look better painted or not.

Ok I used another shot from FJC and chopped the hell out of this pic. I removed the badging the reflections and the reverse lights.

I trimmed the chrome on this pic and I think it looks sharp. I could have done better with the pic but I was too lazy to make it really professional.

What do you all think?

If you guyz can get me a clean shot of the rear of a white max I can try to chop it for you...

That looks tight! I would definietly consider getting these new altezzas for my 95 ruby pearl max if they were available, and I could do that project to them.

I think it would look better on a different angle of the '95-96 Max. Here are some rear shots of my car...if anyone wants to photoshop them PLEASE do!

I like them also

My judgement of liking these stems from this.

I always disliked the tails on the 96-96 max. So anything is an improvement. So, being I own a 95, I bought the 1st Euro (Altezza) and installed them in April of this year. Well the quality of the original Euro sucks more than I can say without getting too ugly. They let water in and the chrome is already erroding away. It has only been 2 months! I just emailed HugoMax79@yahoo.com (a.k.a. on eBay: "HugoMaxWorld") for replacements or a full refund. Wish me luck.

Now, these new ones. Judging from the pic, and this is hard to do, they look to be of better quality plastics than the original Euro lamp. If I can be guaranteed these are better quality than the ones I got shafted for, I would buy these in a heartbeat. These even look better than the origonal Euro's

Now my other opinion is this. If I had a 97-99 max I wouldnt even change the tails, Those are just fine. I would remove the amber and not even seek out aftermarket tails. But, the boring tails of 96-96, just ache for updating/replacing.

Anyone have any experience with these new ones?

The LED deal is definitely nice. I'd like these lights if I only took my car out of the garage at night.
