Car is Shaking!

About 2 months ago I was in an accident and ever since the accident my car has been shaking at speeds between 60-80 mphs. Before the accident I got my breaks but on and they said I had abour 3000 or so miles left on my rotors before they go bad. There are so many things that it could be. I need some advice on what the problem could be.

You need to be more descriptive in the type of accident so we might be able to give better suggestions.

I'm going to assume you had a front-end/side accident. Was there any contact with your wheels (with the curb, car, etc). What type of repair was done?

Could your wheels be out of balance? Have you checked your alignment? A possibility is that your drive shaft or linked components might have bent slightly such that it appears straight but speed has a way of brining out the faults.

Well the accident didn't get past the front bumper, it didn't get near my rims just the hood was messed up. The bumper had little nicks not bad. People are telling me if could be bad rotors I need to see if the right weights on are on rims, that one of my tires are going bad. etc

Bad rotors will only cause vibration when you're braking.

Weights on the wheels (I'm assuming that's wheel balancing) and that could be a culprit.

Inspect your tires, make sure there's no worn spots (emergency braking and dragging tires) or splits, thread damage, etc.

What about just a simple alignment?

I think an alignment would be a good thing to do. If you're feeling rich, get your wheels balanced too.

But, my car doesn't vary off to the right or left. It stays straight when I let the steering wheel go. I am thinking it might be a bad tire.
