What an idiot,i traded my altima(96)for my 97 max se.That guy must be one of those real good drivers, the kind that say they were racing somebody, when the other person does not even know.I hate idiots. Sure he did,i beat the ferrari modena that i saw the other day,but it was parked.HAaaha

Actually a tricked out Altima can in some cases take out a Maxima IF the Maxima is a Auto and the Altima is a 5-speed. I doubt an Altima could take out a Maxima 5-speed unless it either had a turbo, juice, or some serious engine work. I've seen it happen before... I know my Altima was slow but it was an auto. Had it been a 5-speed it would have been a whole lot more fun. Why do you think I got the Maxima? It had a whole lot more potential. Remember, there are some 9 second Civics. Anything is possible with a lot of money.

Where you really notice the lack of poer in an Altima is over 80. It's fun to pullup next to a modded Altima and give it a go at hwy speeds. I don't even have to shift out of 5th and spank them.
