I have a white 97 max se. i am thinking about tinting windows but not sure what kind i want. any suggestions that would look good. I'm not worried about any tint laws here in delaware.

 

Hey, I got the same Car, White 97 SE; I'm in CA so I couldn't go nuts with the tint. This is what I got: 35% on the two fronts, 20% on the back windows (including those two little panels), and 12% on the back glass.

The back glass and the windshield are where most of the light comes thru, so you want to back to be pretty dark (good for the speakers). I didn't want to tint the windshield (which some people do over here and No! it doesn't affect your visibility if you go with about 50 %)

My interior is black, so the car looks dark from the outside, but the tint is not that much on the sides so it's easy to look outside. The different shades give the car a very smooth look, and no one can tell that they are different % of tint.

You can play with the numbers, but I would definitively do some gradual % decrease towards the back (the lower the %, the darker it is)

How would 15% all around look on a black on black 1995 Maxima?

I even considered 5% all around... but that might be a little too dark if in case one day I might be backing up in a totally dark area an a little kid happens to be laying on the ground behind me.
