how hard was it installing your UR underdrive pulley?

how hard was it installing your UR underdrive pulley?

there are tons of posts. however, has anyone found it to be easy? it looks and seems like it's hard when reading through these posts.

if you have a gear puller it isn't hard at all. Its $15 at an autoparts store get it or rent it. Other than the crankpulley bolt being tough to get loose, everything else is easy.

I can't answer for the actual removal of the pulley but it looks like Nismo did a fine job at that. However, in intalling the SC, I had to get under there competely, remove the belt, work near it, etc. so I technically have done all the work that would be needed to change it. And I would say it isn't so bad. Read my instructions for step #9 in my write-up:

It would have been a whole lot easier if I had not broken the belt tensioner bolt. But other than that it was pretty easy.

Gear puller? For what? The pulley simply slides on and off once you remove the pulley bolt. Changing out the pulley is very easy assuming you know how to remove the power steering and accessory belt and have a decent breaker bar (ie get a Chiltons manual).
