Hi

The sun shield on my sunroof has jammed in the open position - so I cannot pull the shield forward.

The power roof still works ok - I think that the shield has just come off its track.

Does anyone know an easy way to fix this?



I have the workshop manual, but that suggests removing the interior of the car and the headlining just to reach to sunroof!

that happend to mine when my girlfriend was messin with it, i told her i wasnt mad, but when she saw how long i was trying to fix it, i think she got the point.....Anyways, i fixed it enough that it can open and close without struggling, its not like it used to be, but i works...I just messed with it until i got it back on the track

 

I broke the sun sheild messin with my girlfriend too. After about 30 min of trying to put it back on the tracks in pitch dark light i just gave up. What did you use to push the big clips back into the track?
