lowering springs
lowering springs
I just bought a '96 Se and want to lower it either via coilovers or springs (prolly springs, I am a poor college student) about 2 inches. My question is do I need to replace the shocks as well to handle the lowered springs. The front ones were just replaced so I don't really wanna pay for a new set. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks

Don't go lowball on aftermarket stuff. Go the extra nickel, and you'll never be disappointed. I would always get stiffer struts to handle stiffer springs, unless you like to bounce. And don't forget to have an alignment done...
