Some pics of the Max on Weapon-R coilovers.
You can look at my sig for comparison, let me know what you guys think. The ride is hella stiff with AGXs set to 2 and 4, but I like it that way; takes corners like a race car! Still trying to figure out what to do about the noise when I steer hard.

Thank for all your compliments!
I'm not really sure how far the drop is. I wish I had measured before I did it, but I was just so excited that it didn't even occur to me. I plan on attempting to take the rear lower, so it's even with the front, but I have to remove the "keeper" coils that soften the ride. Hopefully adjusting the shocks will compensate
I paid $160 for these ones preowned. You should be able to get them new for $250 here:

I just removed the keeper (softener) coils in the back to get it a little lower. Apparently, the weight shift made the front end raise up a little bit:
My apologies for the delay answering these questions:
I am on KYB AGX struts.
I hear some crunching/clunking from the front when I steer, but I'm sure there is a way to get rid of it. Before I removed the rear keeper coils, there was no noise going over bumps and such, but now the back is pretty loud.
Bigger wheels are a long way off due to budget constraints and priorities. A y pipe and nitrous are higher on the list.

for the rear noise, did you make sure to retighten the rears when you brought the car down off the jack??
and for the front, i have replaced the strut bearings and used coil wrap and it still clunks, it is the spring pivoting on the sleeve, no real way around it.. maybe coil wrap on the bottom of the threaded sleeve.
btw - i'd suggest jacking your car up once a week and getting a can of wd40 or that air that sprays out of the can to clean the threads in the sleeves, i've had two lock up on because they get any dirt in there and you can't move them.

The rear is good and tight. I think the noise just happend because the main coils don't have enough travel. The 4" springs are probably already compressed 1.5" from the weight of the car, and maybe another 1.5" is the actual width of the coils (educated guesses), leaves about an inch to move. Try to take a 1.5" bump, and it doesn't do that well (old railroad crossings are especially scary). I may eventually wuss out and put the keepers back in and just live with the higher rear.
Thanks for the advice, much appreciated!

no problem.. i have the rear keepers in.. and i can tuck all of the tire on my 18's.. maybe rims is where you need to be.. like visa.
yeah i hate RR crossings.. worst ever. another thing to consider is putting another one of those thick rubber bushings in the mix somewhere for the rear, i have 2 in there and there isnt much noise from the rear.. but the front is still clunky.
but pretty soon ill be going from a 4.5" drop to a 6.5" drop..
