Just got some new Yokahama AVS db tires

Hello everyone:

I just got some new Yokahama AVS db tires. I got them in teh stock 15" tire size (205/65/15). For speed, they are V-rated These tires really do live up to their advertisements of being quiet.

I first had Bridgestone Potenza S-O3s in a 16" size and then went to some all season H-rated Yokahamas I had lying around in a 15" size which ended up being just as loud as the S-O3s especially on concrete. Then I just put on the AVS dB tires and now I got a lot less road noise.

On concrete, the AVS dB tires seem less than half as loud as all my previous tires were (S-O3s, S-O2's, etc..)

I would suggest these for anybody looking to get less road noise with a decent traction tire.

thanks for the writeup. I was thinking of getting those as my next tire because I'm pretty annoyed by road noise, compared to the RE70s (noisy) that I have right now. But then again....

after going through about 25 full minutes of carving some scenic, windy backroads at night, I might stick with my AA traction rated performance tires
