Question about adding RESTORE engine restorer & lubricant

I'd like to know if anybody has added RESTORE engine restorer to their oil. Is it a safe product to use for the VQ, and have you noticed any difference with your engine?

Thanks,
Don

In high school, my friend put it in his 85 Crown Vic. According to our stopwatch, it dropped the 0-60 time from 20 sec to 15...

I added it to my old car. A 1980 Mazda GLC. I noticed a little increase of power, but the car only had 52 HP to begin with so it wasn't a big increase.

Has anyone added it to a VG engine in the 3rd gen max? will it cause any problems with full synthetic oils? benefits??

I have used this in my 99 Max cause i have aboout 99K miles and i noticed a difference in power, It wasn't all that but i did notice something which means you will notice something which means it did it's job.

I will add again when i do oil change.
I also noticed no problems....
Trance.....

Restore is one of those miracle in a can fix-it cures for low compression. Cartalk (Tom and Ray) tell their callers to use it as a last resort before a ring job on the engine. I would not add those little metal particles in the restore unless I had a low compression reading after an engine diagnosis.

I would have to agree with Eric L on this point. No point in using it unless the engine has high mileage and compression test indicates abnormal numbers in a cylinder. My friend uses Lucas oil stabilizer it actually did feel a bit different.

You're supposed to use that a few times for it to work. Using it once won't do ****. Use it for like 2 or 3 oil changes and it should help...

I've used it twice together w/ sythetic oil only because of my high milage
and my upcoming performance mods. I guess kind of an extra protection.
