Anybody that has removed their hood, is there any tips, tricks, or "no-no's" that I should know before I start? Also, I need to drive about three hours after I remove it to pick another one up to install. Are there any mechanical issues or other reasons I should not do this? thanks for the help.

Better clean up your engine .5 of the way b4 attempting this! Then when a cop pulls you over tell him you were cleaning your engine, and your wife had a baby!
