I want to do the flames coming out of my car
hotrodsetc.net Talk to somebody with a hotrod and ask them about how you can get a flame thrower. Or search around and ask on hotrod sites. That is your best bet. I met a guy in town here with '50 Merc showcar that the flames shoot 20 ft.

Ususally it is because RX-7's backfire a lot sometimes depending on level of tune. So the backfire ignites the fumes.Originally posted by MAXEJA

hot rods are different. i seen a flame throwing kit that you can buy to hook up to a car but that was only for cars that doesnt have EFI. and hot rods are not EFI. correct me if im WRONG.

from what they said it sounds like it pretty much consists of connecting wires to the battery, another to a switch in side the car and putting a sparkplug in the tip of the muffler. the flames will only spit out a couple of feet but still...

it doesn't sound like it's all that expensive. i'm gonna find out more about prices for install and whatnot.
