loud rattle/clunking noise on front driver side
I'm not sure what is the cause of it. When I make a left hand turn, I hear this loud rattle/clunking noise from the front driver side. Could it be my CAI tube? I didn't put any rubber thing to place around the hole that was cut for the CAI. It seem to fit pretty snug though. Could it be the spring or the strut? Rotors? Ideas? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem right now. In may case the problem is the axle. I took it to Pepboys for an inspection and they told me that the right and left front axles need to be replaced. The rotors make more of a squeaking sound. They told me they would resurface the rotors and replace the axles for $360. I asked, "Why not just replace the rotors?" The guy replies, "That would be $50 more." I said thanks and took my car somewhere else where I could get everything done newly for $345 instead of $410 this Saturday.
Anyway, if it' not the CAI tube. It may just be your left front axle. It costs like $65-$70.

Oh, I forgot. They told me that the bearings were wearing out and the axle was popping each time I made turns. However, that problem has been there since March. I've been too busy to look into it till now.

I was going to say wheel bearing also
does it changes with wheel speed?
It is only when the whells is turning or only when the wheel it turned all the way?
I don't think it would be the rotor I agree with athlon omega about the sound
And the springs/struts..maybe... have you let someone else drive your car and you listen?

No, I don't have to turn all the way to hear that sound. It kind of sound like things are falling apart.
Is there anyway to check it out myself? If it's the axle, how can I check to see if it's the case?

left I would suggest checking the CVs. Even if the boots are okay,
you could have a damaged CVJ.
