hey guys

***NEWS FLASH****I have been hounding my friend for the past few weeks about the euro tail lights for our cars. He finally got back to me today and told me that he does have them in stock but that he is not allowed to sell them till the end of the month give or take. I asked him for a price and I should have an estimate by this friday. If anyone is interested in ordering a set let me know. Keep in mind that the bigger the order that we place the better price we get.


Keep in mind that i should have more info PRICE, MANUFACTURER, etc by FRIDAY night. I only posted this info to get an idea so that we can possibly get a CHEAP CHEAP price

I would like to know if this is legit and if so, how much? And another question, r they only going to fit '97 -'99 b/c of the brake light position? Or will they work for the '95 max(with mod or without)? This is very interesting to hear, and i would like to know who produced these...

Are these both the outer and inner that go on the trunk lid because of seen some but they only make the outer lense completely clear. If they are I'm definitely interested.

I don't know if the Altezza style tail lights will look good on a Maxima. We must need pics that for sure, then we'll see. I really like my half clear/half red lenses now. Unless the Altezza lenses on a Maxima look absolutely HOT, I'll pass. JMO.

I would venture to say the manufacturer will be APC.
I would have to see pic on a 4th gen before I could
decide. The price would be around $250-$275 from the
other tails prices I've seen

If they are producing them for the 4th gen Maxima,I bet
there is one design for all 5 years. Just moving the turn
signal bulb to a common place. No mod would need to be made
if this is what is done.

u guys better hope they are well made..i remember the accord altezzas had that lens pop out fault. i still to this day see some accords with the same ghetto poped out altezzas. ill pass on this deal..UNLESS..they look hella dope...

guys, dont go falling for those tails. They are ment for the little civics and acuras. I have seen them on other cars and they look like crap. I say stick with the clear/red or red/clear combo's. Much better look for a maxima. IMHO!

You gotta love the hypocrisy on this forum. Half the posts deal with how slow and ricey all hondas are and how maximas are so much better. And people keep talking about how Civics and Integras look so horrible slammed and that they're stock Maxima or one with just an intake is gonna blow away heavily modified Civics. But as soon as Altezza look taillights are offered, people are falling over themselves to be first in line to buy them. Keep in mind that these things epitomize the Honda/Acura scene. Every other Civic, integra, and Prelude already has them. They look ugly on those cars, are our Maximas really so special that they'll look good on them?

FWIW, I like em ok, but polly wont get em when/if they ever come out. Just not into it I guess. (not a rice/not rice thang) I figure "Live and Let Live", ya know? If you like messin' up your rig with ugly stuff, its your thing! Go fer it! I think we all have different ideas about whats cool. Just do what you want and don't tell us how to mod our car. kool?

It's not the taillights I mind. On some cars they look cool, I guess I'm just tired of them from seeing them at all the shows. It's the attitude of a lot of the owners on this board that I can't understand. If you want to put the lights on your car, it's cool. Your car, your choice. I know a lot of the people here would disagree with some of the choices I've made for my car. But when people here talk trash on a whole group of people just because they drive a certain car, it's not cool. And when these same people laugh at and diss Honda/Acura owners for being riceboys and doing stupid things to their cars, it's even less cool. Finally, when these people, after dissing Hondas and Acuras for their mods, choose to put the exact same mod on their car and think it's ok just because it's a Maxima, that's just hypocritical and unfair. Being a riceboy isn't about the car or the mods, it's about the attitude and a lot of the Maxima guys attitudes are just as bad as the riceboys. Riceboys claim their car can beat any car, is that so different from a lot of the claims we hear on this page in the roadkill posts?

That pic is of a Altezza type design, not a clear lens. They're different. I like the Altezza a little better. This pic looks ok to me. If the lights were the right price, I'd get some.

There are not commercially available clears or Altezzas for the 4th gen Max right now, right?

I just like the clear white lenses for mine. But they only make the 2 outer lenses and not the inners, if anyone knows if anybody makes the set of four let me know.

Hey, as far as I know I am the one who decides what to put on my car, right? If someone doesn't like those tails, that's fine, don't get them. The pic that was photoshoped, looks nice, but it doesn't mean that's how they will look. I will not buy them untill I see them, and that's my advise for everyone. Some cars look nasty with them, some look nice.
