I just got a '96 5-spd se with 91k miles. When I accelerate normally in 2,3,4th gears I feel a slight hesitation before feeling the acceleration under my foot, however it doesnt rev up or anything like that it just has a slight pause. The other thing is when I hard accelrate it doesn't do this. Has anyone else experinced this or know the possible cause. Thanks, Matt

 

Could it be that your accel cable is out of adjustment?
