I thought i read somewhere that there was a recall on the O2 sensor on the 95 Maximas. Does anyone know anything about this? I have a 95 SE that i just got a week ago and would like to know if this is true and how to find out if it has been done or not.

95 SE, auto, Eurolites, loaded. Coming soon, CAI and exhaust (any suggestion??)

Your dealer can answer both questions. Give him your Vehicle Identification Number and he can do a computer lookup to see if your car is (a) eligible, and (b) not yet done.

That might be true. I have 95 SE that I got for almost a year and the thing that annoyed me is " check engine " light that pop up all the time. So, I brought it to nissan dealer and the result was O2 sensor. estimate price for replacing is aroud 250- 280 included tax and labor. I can see the different right away. save a lot more gasoline( use to filled up $30/week ) so, whenever your check engine's light appears just bring it to the shop and have it diagnosis to see the problem.
