I just got Infinity I30 which is same as 96 maxima. The car run fine in the forward gears but hesitate in the reverse gear. Can I keep driving this car or should I get the transmission rebuilt. What would be the best and cheapest way to get this fixed. The car is reversing but with a slow pick.

when I put my auto in reverse it makes a click type noise it only does it the first time when its cold. Is it anything to worry about? what is it?

 

Have you checked the fluid level?

You could try to have the tranny flushed and get some new fluid in there. It's good maintenance!

 

No nooise but the engin shake when I press the gas padle hard. After that the car start to move in reverse. But the car will not move on its own when I put it in R. It does when I put it in D.
