sorry to bother you guyz, but my horn just suddenly stopped working- 5 days after i installed FIAMM tripple air horns... maybe i blown a fuse? because my cruise control doesnt work anymore either.. how do i fix a blown fuse? yea.. im not mechanically imclined. My cuzin installed my horn for me.

Also i got my oil change and the guy who did it said my exhaust was hanging off.. I didnt believe him so i brought my baby to my cuzin to check it out. He said thatthe exhaust was hanging off because the hangers had rotted out and some bolts/screws were rusty also.

Does anyone here know the part number for hangars and gaskets? and prices?

Im just wondering because i dont want my exhaust to fall down all of a sudden.. i have been thinking of getting a YPIPE but my cuzin said it wouldnt really fix the problem.. so anyways... i just need prices and part numbers for OEM stock exhaust parts like hangars and bolts/screws/ and gaskets.. thanx.. i really need the help

There is no way to "fix" a blown fuse. You have to replace it.

Those new horns draw a lot of current. They should be installed with a new heavy-gauge power wire and a new auxiliary horn relay. Maybe your cousin did a "quick and dirty" installation and used the same power wire that formerly drove the factory horns. If this is the case, it is no wonder the fuse blew. If you replace that fuse, you may expect the replacement to blow in another five days.

Did he also use an additional horn relay? This is important, and "pretty sure" isn't good enough. Call him and ask.

Had a similar problem when I installed my Hella horns, but realized that I wasn't using the proper wiring. I have the factory alarm system on my 97 SE and one horn is mounted under the hood (for the alarm) and a small horn (a true weenie horn) is mounted just behind the grill. When you honk the horn, both horns sound. I also found an extra horn wire near the smaller horn....taped up and ready to use with a connector, so I mounted both Hella horns just behind the grill and using the two factory horn wires, and left the horn under the hood alone. Now, when I hit the horn, all three horns sound and the alarm horn works as designed in alarm mode. In other words, no new wiring or relays were needed since I found the additional wire, but my horns may not draw as much current as yours. Good luck with it!
