www.erebuni.netHave some cool universal fit spoilers.
www.stillen.comHave the TYPE II wing which is 1.5" higher then stock.
But I think your best bet is to find a local spoiler shop.
Do not go through a dealer, you will get ripped.

My factory spoiler was stolen off of my car. Bought a new one on ebay, painted shipped to my door for $240. Mathces perfectly. Bought it from a lady with the user name of DorenL I think. Go to http://www.wooddashfactory.com
or email her at dorene@tampabay.rr.com
She was way cool, arrived in three days, and the pebble beige matched perfectly. My body shop installed it for $60 (had to drill new holes).
All said and done, cost $300 to return to factory look. Cleanest IMO.

OEM factory spoiler
I bought my OEM factory spoiler for around $240 or so from Courtesy Nissan (email: courtesy@kag-1.net) for my 1995 GLE, and that included it being painted from the factory to match the factory paint on my car. If it was a new install, such as yours, then it would run you another $50 for the spoiler install kit from the dealer as well.
What comes w/ the spoiler are the industrial strength adhesive pads, bolts, a plastic cover to take place of your high-mounted stop lamp, and the plastic clips that hold your spoiler to the trunk. With the spoiler kit comes included wider clips for your trunk, since they allow for a little messup when you drill your trunk, a plastic template to assist with drilling placements on your trunk, and it also comes w/ 2 heavy duty torsion bars to accomodate the extra weight on your trunk so it doesn't slam when you close your trunk w/ the spoiler on it. And of course, like every OEM part that you buy, the OEM part carris a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty on it, if it breaks. There are aftermarket spoilers out there as well, if you don't want to pay the above metioned prices--some are good and some aren't so good, so read up before buying something aftermarket.
Installation of the factory spoiler involves drilling 9 holes in your trunk, attaching your spoiler to the trunk, running your spoiler wiring to the 3rd stop lamp harness, disattaching your center high-mounted stop lamp, and then putting the cover over the hole of CHMSL. That's basically it.

no way you bought the oem spoiler for that price. our price is like 500. did you mistype that price?

wicked1044: No typos, the price is right (pretty close, at least)
I'm surprised that you doubt me--that's okay, some claims on this forum seem outlandish, so proof is sometimes needed. Anyways, what I typed out as the price is pretty close. I'm not out to mislead anyone w/ my posts, and my information in my original post was a guess from when I bought it, hence "$240 or so", and I had tried to be as accurate as possible.
But since I feel that you're a doubter, I went out to my car to get the receipt from May 15, 2000. I must admit that I thought I had bought it from Courtesy (as I buy 95% of my stuff from there), but the spoiler and kit was from Brown & Brown Nissan (800.237.0003), a Courtesy Nissan parts competitor. And it looks like the OEM Nissan spoiler costed me $264 w/ the 20% discount from $330, (factory painted to match my car's color code QN0), and the spoiler install kit was $51.20 (discounted from $64).
Hopefully that makes you happy--and if you need more proof, I'll send you a copy of the actual receipt via email. Have a nice day.

Your best bet is to either go to ebay.com and get one for $75 unpainted or to your local car store. I was just at a store near my house and they quoted around $350 Canadian for a touring wing painted and installed.

sorry to doubt you there, but thats a crazy low price. who did you speak with there? and do you have the part #'s? i questioned you only because i couldn't possibly see a nissan oem spoiler(painted mine you)for that kind of money.. it seemed outlandish to me. did you work on that price or was that the one they spit out? thanks (your doubter buddy) wicked...
For wicked1044, my doubter buddy :)
From the looks of my receipt, I bought it from Tim (but personally, I don't like the guy, as he's got somewhat of an attitude; there are others you could deal w/ that are more pleasant) from Brown and Brown Nissan parts dept.(Tempe, AZ location, 800.237.0003). As for the pricing, I didn't have to work on the pricing at all, I told my car and it's color code, and he automatically gave me the 20% discounted price--no haggling whatsoever. Again, I bought the spoiler back in May, and it may now be even cheaper than what I paid for it--as AndyXXL seemed to have got a pretty deal from his dealership himself.
I'll give you my part numbers, but remember these Nissan part numbers are SPECIFIC for my car's color (Arctic white), so if you have a different color, it won't work:
PN 999J1-7GQN0 Maxima Spoiler QN0 (looks like the last 3 alphanumeric digits is the color code, as my car's Arctic White code is QN0); comes w/ the spoiler, wiring harness, trunk clips, industrial strength adhesive tape, and some bolts
PN 999J1-7H000 Maxima Spoiler installation kit (comes w/ 2 heavy duty torsion bars to keep your trunk up w/ the extra weight of the spoiler (which weighs about 5 lbs.), wider clips for mounting your spoiler to your trunk, since they allow for a little messup when you drill your trunk, a plastic template to assist with drilling placements on your trunk, and a center-high mounnted stop lamp cover to take the place of your removed 3rd stop lamp).
With the exception of sub $10 parts, I hardly ever buy anything from the local Nissan dealer for parts anymore these days. As I like getting the 20% discount off genuine parts, I usually call either B&B Nissan or Courtesy Nissan (most often, 800.527.1909) for my OEM parts needs. Hope that helps.
