How do i know what size fit the 4th gen max... the 4 lugs or 5 lugs... and what size are a good size? No clue about the size of tires or rims... thanx

I know the 4th Gens are 5 lug 5-114.3. Some places have you to enter your year and make of your car then they'll show you all the rims that'll fit.

 

Expanding a little...


5x114.3(4.5), +40 offset
From above,
5 = 5 lugs
114.3 (or 4.5) = distance between lugs
+40 offset = any offset between 35 & 45 will work, distance from hub to center of wheel.

Will these fit my 97 GLE maxima (4th gen)

KONIG 17" BLATANT RIMS WITH YOKOHAMA 235/45/17 TIRES, BOLT PATTERN IS 10X100/112 ( 5 LUG).

18" Konig Verdict rims with 215/35/R18 NANKANG NSII tires, bolt pattern is 18x7.5 OFF-SET: +45mm BOLT PATTERN: 4/100 or 4/4.50

Those are Honda style bolt patterns...the ones posted earlier is what you HAVE TO ASK for...it seems you may be getting a chance to buy used rims but make certain if the lugs fit up on the car...make sure you turn all the way left and right to make certain there are no rubbing issues...Good Luck and Happy Motoring!

 

the bolt pattern HAS to be 5x114.3, nothing else will work.
