shaky steering wheel @ 70+ mph

shaky steering wheel @ 70+ mph

yea i think i saw a post similar to this on one of the forums but didnt get to read it. When im on the highway the steering wheel starts shaking a little bit when i get past 70.....im not sure of the cause....

most likely: front wheels not balanced properly.

less likely: front rotors warped.

Have a shop check them both out (wheel balancing is cheap and quick).

Could also be a slightly bent rim.

my steering wheel and gas pedal used to shake a little around 70 mph. I was still riding on the factory Goodyear Eagles at like 50k miles. Then I got new Kumhos, my ride is really smooth now with no shaking. Check your tires for wear.
