how do I get overspray off my hood. Take the car back to the shop?
Man I was giving somebody a ride somewhere and they noticed what looked like some dust that someone had run their finger through and I saw that it is actually overspray. The front bumper cover was replaced, but I think paint probably was blown in the air and got on the hood. There are actually particles all the way on the rear spoiler that I did not know were there until I ran my finger across it. I'd probably never have seen them because they're the same color as the car (Arctic White) Somebody please tell me that this stuff will come off after I've washed my car a couple of times! I think that I actually may be the one whose finger was run through the stuff last night when I touched the hood to see if there was overspray there. (A friend actually first showed me the overspray on the spoiler last night when he was leaning on the car, which made me touch the hood.) If I have to go back, what will the body shop tell me they can do when I get there?
