guys with NOS
ok so i finally got my NOS kit had it for a while. just had a few questions. i want to get a fuel pressure gauge but the auto meter one say in the catalog that i have to mount them outside of the cabin.
yes i did a search or fuel pressure gauge and got nothing useful.
i was just wondering what gauge some of you guys used and what the company/model #.
ok now i am pushing 90k on my car and started using syntetic oil.
sould i worry about replacing my gaskets, and fuel injectors?????
and while i at it what kind of tranny oil would be the best.
i am gonna start at a 50 shot just to get use to things. but a 75 shot is what i want to end up with. and when i go out to the track i want to be at 100 shot.
any good suggestions would be aprreciated.
thanks

Use an electrical gauge, like Autometer's #4363. The fuel line goes to a sensor block outside the cabin, and a thin electric wire conducts the signal to your gauge inside the cabin. I bought my 4363 from Summit Racing for $190. Good luck.

If you want to go cheap on the fuel pressure gauge you can use a mechanical one and put a 2' hose on it and run it out the hood under the windshield wiper, it will hold there quite nicely. I only do this at the track the rest of the time I have it under the hood.

That was a 100 shot, haven't tried anything larger on the track. Just tried the 125 on a quiet road and at 50 mph in second gear with the throttle to the floor I hit the Nitrous button and the wheels broke loose so its pretty crazy. There is a large difference between 100 NOS and 100 NX too you can really feel it and it dropped .5 from my ET.

It's not illegal in Cali as long as you have the line disconnected, you can still have everything in your car.

I am an NX believer now after 3 or 4 weeks of switching there is no comparison. Just as easy to install, no tuning involved, just put in the jets the tech dept says for your fuel pressure. As someone already reminded me its Plug & Spray vs Plug & Pray.

I had an NX Wet kit 75shot, and got pulled over for having brite whites in my altezza TL's, so to avoid the ticket I offered to pop the bulbs out right then and there, which he let me do. Then when he saw the bottle in the trunk he started messin around sayin it looked like a bomb, but when I asked him about it being legal he said it was. im in Fort Lauderdale, Florida though it might be different in other states.
I had a kid tell me a cop stopped him and had him disconnect the hose. which seems pointless and stupid but I figured I would tell u that because some laws are pointless and stupid so it might be true
