Has anyone removed the MAF screen on there max before? I remember when i had my lumina z34 , people did this and it was supposed to take off .2-.3 on et's ..
Maybe a new possible free mod.

 

don't think ours has one, I've had mine apart quite a few times and I don't remember a screen.

 

We have one. It is there to straighten the airflow so the MAF can get an accurate reading.

You're better off leaving it alone.

 

Yeah, I just looked at mine but its more like screen on a porch so it wouldn't add hp if removed. If the Engine on that Lumina has the kind of screen I'm thinking of it was kind of thick right? (like 1/4 inch or so)
