Ok I had my CV joints done a few months ago, but even before and after having them done, there is occasionally a clicking noise as though it were my CV joints, the only strange thing is that it only happens after i've had the AC on cold for probably 20-25 min or so whether driving or just sitting in it with the AC on. After turning off the AC it will eventually go away. Anyone else have this problem?.. any help is appreciated..

 

Check the CV boot that might have gone bad as well

 

The next time you hear the clicking noise while idling with the AC on check to see if the clicking noise is coming from IAC. There is a idle solenoid for the AC that may have failed or is making a poor connection. Look at your rpms while you are idling with the AC on and make sure that 1) the idle is steady 2)that the idle increases when you turn the AC on and decreases when you turn the AC off.
