Hey guys -

I decided today that I need a cargo net for my trunk. Is there a generic one out there that will fit in a max, or do I have to purchase one through nissan. Any ideas on cost?

Thanks!

I got one from my local nissan dealer... I think that is the only place you can get one, I looked for generic but had no luck. The dealer didnt have the part in stock so I had to order it and it took about 3 days and cost me about $40.

Nissan Canada doesn't seem to carry those up here so its unique to the U.S. only.....too bad!

cargo net

i've been interested in a cargo net. i decided that the cheapest would've sufficed. i checked walmart, k-mart, and various independent auto stores w/o luck, so i finally called courtesy nissan. $35 for my 95max. got it in a week. will install sat. looks like a nice setup.

$35? That's not bad at all. Looks like I will have to place my order soon.

Thanks for the info.

I got my cargo net from a Nissan dealer. Its the only place where you can get one MADE for the Maxima. I know the dealership so they gave it to me for $11. The parts guy told me they were "on clearance" from Nissan and that they wouldn't be carrying them anymore.

The install was easy and its factory. I can't imagine not having this thing...

My friend has a '98 Infinity I30 and he has a cargo net. If you can't find one in a Canadian Nissan Dealer go and try an Infinty dealer and see if it fits.

Ha ha... that's my problem, too, though somehow I only really make two turns from the grocery store to my apartment. I figure the the problem will correct itself once I get my trunk half-filled with a sub box

As long as a can of soup doesn't go thru one of your subs as you fly around a corner....ouch!
