Opinions on this paint scheme?

I'm thinking that the black should be metalic so it shines nicely next to the pearl white. The lower edge would be a light grey, and the thin black and white lines would be two standard pinstripes?

The reason behind this is that there are some big ugly cracks in the lower half of my front bumper, and having a new one painted to match my pearl white finish will be hella expensive. Instead, I think that I could just paint a black stripe around the lower section of the car, covering the cracks. Since the cracks are in the ABS itself, not just the paint, they will eventually reopen, but should be much less visible against black paint.

So honestly, what do you think?

sorry but i really don't think that looks good on a max at all. and btw, what is with the spoiler? isn't having a whole paint job around going to cost about as much as just fixing the front pearl white?

...what he said... - especially when you consider the price of a new bumper cover.

I agree. Just get a car bra. Much cheaper and looks better than 2 tone IMO

When I first looked at the pic, it reminded me of a Lexus ES300. If that's the look you're going for, its all yours.

But I don't really like the pinstripe...it makes the lines on the car look too cluttered.

two tone is cool but u have to find the rite colors...black and white i think does not match...esp if the car is white...try a lighter color...and maybe just tone the kit not half the car...

I gotta say I don't like the paint scheme very much. Looks tacky to me. But hey its your Max, and I can't tell you what to do.

Ouch, looks like it's pretty unanimous! This is why I ask you people before I jump into something, I just don't have the eye for these things.

Actually I never had that wing, I drew that in by hand. Looks like I'll be sticking with my munched up bumper cover for a few more years. $120 for the cover itself + $4-500 for a tricoat paint job from a reputable shop is more than it's worth to me. I used to have a bra, but it just doesn't fit in anymore with my drop, tint, and altezzas.

ditch the wing. the scheme might pass if you had an I30. the two tone looks odd on a Maxima. But it might turn out different in person.
