moving battery for hybrid intake
moving battery for hybrid intake
I jus ordered a hybrid and was thinking to move my battery. I want to leave it in the engine bay, as in not move it to the trunk. I jus want to get more air to the filter. I read that you can turn the battery sideways, and also that you could cut the battery tray somehow? Can someone help please? This would help get more air to the filter i believe.

But, getting "more air to the filter" doesn't make any sense to begin with. If you run the thing wide open your still not going to notice a difference except in the horrendous noise....

This is no real help for the street, I am making it for the track and will remove the headlight for cooler air flow.
Presently I still remove the headlight for racing and it does seem to help.
I made a new battery tray out of aluminum, pretty ghetto but works.
