I know what you mean. Let me know what Steve says about the crack. Hopefully it was just a shipping error. Steve is great guy.

sorry to hear about your issues guys, mine 'looks' fine, i mean, i have not seen a prob with it yet.

so after 2 days of driving with it, i am still amazed at the sound, it is really incredible, sounds like a small block carbureated V8, but only at WOT, so i can drive through neighborhoods and not annoy people, or i can drive through ghetto apt complexes and make all the boys jealous, i love it!

i cant wait for my clutch breakin period to be over, then i can see if the extra power is noticable.

I heard from Steve last week and he said that he was waiting on some K&N filters. I think he said he is getting them around the first of August, so I imagine shipments will be sent out soon. I will probably contact him again if I don't receive it by next Friday.

How did you get in touch with him. I've tried 4 times, no luck. At least via e-mail. My only problem was he sent me a Monster flow instead of a K&N. The whole thing is taking just way too long, so Im just going to settle for this Fugly monster flow.

Tru, I placed my order on one Monday and sent out a Money Order. When do you think I can expect mine?

PS. Yes, USPS -DOES- have tracking numbers!

dammit! i didn't think i'd have to wait that long. i ordered it today and i'm so damn antsy, i want it yesterday. as long as it's here before i have to go back to school, I'm happy. btw, is the silver one actually metal? also, any problems with fitment on a '96? i remember some people had to drill an extra hole for pop or cai, can't remember...

I ordered on the 22nd, and haven't gotten it yet. He replied to an email on Satuday and said he was waiting on backordered filters and that they should be here this week.

that's what I hear. I hope to get mine this month. this is a common thing though. It's a common problem because the people who market mods are most often the people who design them. while it may be a brilliant design and a great product, these people have little in the way of customer service experience. if an established company did this they would be drawn and quartered. I'm just saying an announcement as to when the ETA is would be a great step in and of itself. and don't tell me they're too busy. it takes 5 minutes at most to put it on their site or right here.

So those that have it installed tell us about the gains, and where it is noticeable at?

That's a very good point. Something as simple as an accurate ETA would go a very long way to make many people feel better (including myself).

that's downright obscene. 1.5 months, i hope no one else has to wait that f-ckin long. i guess you just caught the tail end of the manufacturing cycle and as luck would have it you now have to wait longer than anyone else. man, just putting something on their site like "We are waiting for filters from K&N or midpipes from the manufacturer. Orders will start shipping 08/15." It'd make everyone so much happier. then again, i guess if you have a good enough price on a great product nothing else matters.
