FS: Brand New 5.5 Gen Window Roll-up Module

From the factory, your OEM key FOB allows you to roll down your windows by pressing and holding the ‘UNLOCK’ button. Unfortunately, Nissan did not devise a function to roll them back up with the key FOB.

This window roll-up module easily installs inside your vehicle’s door panel and allows you to roll the windows up by pressing the ‘LOCK’ button twice on your OEM key FOB remote.

With this module you have the ability to vent your windows as well. There is also an extra function added for your safety that you can activate if you choose to and that is the Auto-Door Locking Feature. This allows your doors to automatically lock after the ignition is turned to the ‘ON’ position.

Installation is 5 simple wires all found in the driver’s side door. No need for any additional alarms or modules. You keep everything factory. Detailed installation instructions included.

This module is compatible with 5.5 Gen Maximas only (you should have the Windows Down function with your OEM Key FOB).

Please let me know if you’d like one, I have a few of them. Price is $55.00 Shipped. Please send paypal to paramy_mixaychareun@hotmail.com

Thanks,

-Paramy

Well the way this module works is you hit the "Lock" button twice via the OEM Remote, which triggers the signal to the Window Rollup Module. I'm not sure of your configuration on the aftermarket alarm to tell you for sure how this would operate. However, you probably would be able to still install it, and hit the "Lock" button twice on the driver side door panel, and it would work. As of now what does your alarm control? Does it control the door lock as well? If it does I'm figuring that you can use the same function if you have an aftermarket remote as well. Let me know if any of this doesn't make sense.

Are you using the OEM remote key fob? If you are, then I'm positive this will work, because that was how mine was. If you are using an aftermarket key fob this should still work, because you are transmitting the "Lock" function when you go to lock your doors so it will activate this module. Please let me know if you'd like on. I love this thing on my car. So convenient!

As Deckdout was saying you must be able to transmit consecutive 'LOCK' pulses with the alarm remote. Some alarm will do this, while some won't. Some alarms, when they are armed, will not relock the doors. As this module works off of 'LOCK' pulses it is a requirement that the doors can be locked twice in quick succession.

You can test this by sitting in the car with the doors unlocked. Arm the alarm, manually unlock the door, and then hit the 'ARM' button again. If the door you manually unlocked relocks then this module will work. If it does not relock then this module will not work.

So you only need one module to control all the locks and windows? And I assume this module is installed in the drivers side door? Definitely interested. How many do you have available?

It controls the front 2 windows for the up position only. 1 module is needed to do this and is installed in the drivers side door. I have as many as you need available.

There is a separate module to do this with, however at the moment it is only offered for G Coupes. I will verify if there is one out for the Maxima now. I've been waiting a while for this module myself. The module can actually vent, open, and close the sunroof via the OEM keyfob. Will report back when I find out.

Since this has already been bumped, does anybody know if the stock roll-down feature, and the roll-up from this module can be applied to all 4 windows and sunroof? If it's as simple as doing a bit of soldering or crimping and running some more wires to the other 3 electric motors, I'm all over that.

I can't speak too much about this module, don't have it. But, in my reading and understanding, it will not work. I suggest getting an aftermarket alarm system that is wired and designed to operate all those openings. Would also allow you to operate them individually if you wanted/needed. Very common technology anymore, don't cheap out, spend the money in the system that is going to work. IMO, Ungo has some affordable systems that will let you do what you're asking.

Thanks. I googled Ungo and eventually found this. It mentions it has support for remote controlling windows, but lists "2 Auxiliary outputs". Does that mean it will only support 2 windows like the module in the OP? Is there a more advanced product with more outputs to solve this?

You may have to purchase additional relays/equipment specific to those added outputs/functions.
I'm no audio tech and don't keep up with that stuff. I suggest talking to your local knowledgeable shop. They should be able to set you up with the system and equipment you need to install yourself (if capable).
