WTB Filter holder

After reading the GAB threads again...I'm thinking about trying this. So I'm looking for a filter holder for the 5th gen stock air box. If you have one lying around, please let me know. Thanks!

just so you know, you dont need the oem filter holder to do the gab. coathanger or the ebay hanger/filterholder will also work

use a thick coathanger for better results...did you not read the how-to write up?

Dude...I read those threads thousands of time already. I guess I should have been a little more clear. I don't want to do the coat hanger GAB because of fear of the bottom of the filter coming loose. A hacked filter holder would be the best way to go for me. I didn't want to cut up my own filter holder so that I could go back to stock if I wanted to.

If anyone has one that they are willing to sell let me know. Thanks!

Haha! That was too funny! JK, I'm not going to outbid you! I know these may be hard to come by but I'm with you on just spending the few bucks to find a used one or even at a junkyard, just can't see paying $65-$70 for an air filter holder. I mean my rinky dink coat hanger is doing the job fine so far, sucks not having a place to hang my coat though!

Hahah....I know. I want to get a used one so I could go back to stock anytime I want and it would look nicer than a coat hanger. So whoever has one....let me know.
