how much for the license plate leds maxima112?

humm can someone do me a favor and open up the clear map light cover and measure the inside area of the map light to see what would fit. i think one map light LED board would fit fine, but obviously i'm not 100% sure. I have not sent anything out so i can still refund some money no prob.

so in short if someone could measure:

5th gen w/sunroof
5.5 gen w/sunroof
5.5 w/out sunroof

What are the chances for door LEDs to not flicker and burn out one by one. I had three sets from Metal Maxima and they lasted like a week max. The other ones (dome and map lights) are good. If yours are different, you can put me in the list for a set.

umm i dunno about the chances. but i've had mine for aaaabouuut a month since i started the thread...so problems yet. if you look at the quality of the boards you'll see the difference Metal Max made those on his own. these are made my machine i believe. its very clean...its up to you to decide. you could wait for a little if you want to see the results of others. but i believe its a strong product and well made.

UPDATE: i've sanded down most of the boards for them to fit in the clear housing. i'll be testing all of them before shipping. etc. etc and i have to find stuff to ship them in.....

Ok, but in case if they burn out will you replace them for the new ones, how does that work? I'm not expecting a lifetime warrenty but I would like to know that I don't throw out my $ for a week. Maybe it was Metal Maxs design that caused them to overheat and burn out.

For sure they wont burn out within a week. I'll give you one month free replacement and another month after that half off + shipping. that sound enough?

well i have an 00 w/out sunroof and it fits in mine.....sorry forgot there was a difference. but its easy enough to find out if it fits. open the plastic lens and measure a square 1.5 x 1.5 if you can than it fits. its only 1/2 an inch thick (max)

i thought the sunroof only has one light...haha

Souleater you want a DOME instead of the map. atlridin has not paid so i'm going to give you that one.

No, I want both map and dome lights. But since my car has a sunroof and you not sure if it's fit, I will take the dome light first. For the map light it seems i have to wait on the list.

I measured my maplight, I have 2.25x2 of space. This was 02+ with sunroof.

i have a 01 with a sunroof i would like both doors, dome and map please

good news! 5.5 gen's w/sunroofs can use the square map lights perfectly fine

bad news. 5th gens w/sunroofs i'll have to find another way.... i'm going to recheck the measurement because i think i rounded up...

UPDATE: I spent all night finalizing all the lights and have tested most of them. tonight i'll be packing them up and shipping them out tomorrow USPS, everyone in round 1 has paid in full except for n3985 only cause of the map issue. i just PMed you about it.

I'm sending them priority ($4.25) each should get there in 2-3 days. i'll update once i get it alllll good and out for ya guys. thanks again for waiting it's been a long first round.

humm these measurements are for 5 and 5.5 gen. im sure they are very close but i CANNOT guarantee fitment ina 4th gen. unless you want to go ahead and measure out the area of all the lights. i can show you what I need through email.
