Some of you are concerned that the front mounting point could hit the ground. The point at which it mounts is 2 inches higher than the bottom of the front bumper. If the mount point hits the ground then pretty much your entire bumper is going to rip off, and I don't see that happening often.

I think you guys would be OK with the new traction bars. I only had clearance problems when loading my car on its trailer when the 23/8.5/15 M&H slicks were mounted - and I had 3" of ground clearance then. The concept has been well proven, the new model looks more professional than the first version, and they do clear up a lot of steering issues on the Max.
My only comment is that you should eyeball the path between mounting points of each side and be sure of the clearance for any automatic transmission and any long oil filter. I bent mine with a conduit bender to shape then around the automatic and oil filter on my 4th gen - that took 10 minutes. If you mount really wide tires, like slicks, they might rub the tires on sharp corners. With street tires, I never had that problem.
With the traction bars, you accelerate, corner, and stop with much better control of your car - and the new ones look good.
.
I should be good for these in March/April, but is there anyway you can get a picture of these on a car from underneath, say on a lift? The closeups are hard to see the whole picture.
Any negative effects to these at all?

I noticed that ladder bars effectively eliminated body roll about as well as the rear anti-roll bar did on my Chevelle. Do these traction bars similarly limit front end roll? Based on the mounting points, it appears they might but that could also lead to increased understeer without a corresponding increase in rear roll stiffness.
hey i am interested
i was warned about these having a negative effect on suspension since this will eliminate almost all flex
is that true
where in florida
im in broward can i pick them up if i buy them

Well I got my set today for my 5.5 Gen and the bolts are too big to fit through the control arm-they fit the upper part but not the bottom. Guess I'll start drilling later.
Also they're not powdercoated, but at this point I really don't care.
