Bump, still waiting for tracking numbers. Per the feedback I would expect the bars to have been shipped out by now, but who knows.

 

Hey guys, sorry just got back online, arrived in BC yesterday safe and sound, still waiting for all of my personal and racigline belongings to arrive from the moving company. Will probably be another week though.

Anyways all orders have been shipped. All but 3 went out last friday. Response was a little better than I had hoped and I sold out. The last 3 orders recived were forwarded to my warehouse to be drop shipped this past wednesday. everybody else should have either got theirs yesterday or today. I don't have tracking numbers handy as they are all in my files still enroute to me. Please feel free to pm or post any questions you may have. I apologize in advance if I am slow to respond but things are quite busy for the next few days.

taz, thanks for the update. I hope your move-in is trouble free, as I am ready to order the battery tie down too!

 

INSTALLATION TIP:

for some of you the bar may seem too long. There are several possibilities for this, but the main one is that your towers have/are already been stressed ( ie. you are lowered).

to aid installation, place a jack in the middle of the front sub frame right where the motor mount is and raise the car 1-2 inches while still leaving the tires on the ground. This will relieve the stress on the towers and actually move them further apart. Being a fixed position bar there is not very much forgiveness when installing. The more stress the car has gone through the tighter the fit may be. This is especially true for cars who have had front end collisions.

Tie downs are still in sampling but should be out in a few weeks

Install went smooth, I ended up flipping one of the bolts so I could get to the inner-most strut bolt (driver side) because the stock intake bracket is in the way. Those with a non stock setup (and who removed the box) should be ok, your just going to need an adjustable wrench to tighten those inner most bolts.

Not a bad bar, hell of a lot thicker/lighter than the courtesy bars of old.

 

still waiting for mine, you know what's the hold up? doesnt make sence if some in the states got it first when im in Canada

all shipped out already. 3 where delayed because of demand......the factory had to drop ship for me as i ran out of stock.

maxximaa.yours was one of them that went out last thursday via ups. if I remember, you are in manitoba.............not on the 3 day list, even within canada, however you should have it for tomorrow

they easily clear on the 6th gens and there is more room on the 5.5's, so
