I bought a kit a while back and just got a chance to install this ground kit on saturday(was waiting for the intake).

2 things i want to ask you guys if any of you have experienced this with you car and the ground kit.

1. Before the ground kit, everything worked find on my car.
Now that the kit is on, my sunroof doesnt work when i want to open it, the only thing that works is just the up and down. i checked every fuses and they're all fine(inside the car and under the hood). what's going on??

2. Based on this pic...

It's the ground kit to the IM(intake manifold), when it was on(now that it's off), there was a knocking sound when the gas pedal is touched. It is so annoying that i have to take it off. Any idea of what's happening??

Any pointers to solve these issues is very much appreciated.

ahaa..i found the thread!!

crap, i like the clear silver, or the blue...but i don't know which one would look better. there is almost no blue on my car, but the door lights, dome light, and digital contol LED's(my fav part of the int, lol):

...i've got a 00 Maxima, and the car theme is mainly black/grey/silver/ with blue lighting., with Genuine Nismo 350Z staggard Silver Rims...i think the clear blue would look best so lets do that! what email account do i use to send the $$ via PayPal? msg me!

I had the ticking too but not sure if it started right after I installed the kit or later. I just thought it was my injectors. After reading this I disconnected that same ground from IM and so far the tick is gone. Ill have to drive some more to verify but I find it strange. I didnt check thoroughly but I thought there was already a ground somewhere on the IM.

edit: sorry Shinjiduo for posting on your for sale thread but thought this info may be useful to some.

He should update this thread if he's still doing this or not. Life gets in the way of the fun stuff that we do to our cars. I'm interested in a kit but if it takes a month or so to get something, I'd rather make it myself.

Weird, he was very friendly/informative to me, and kept me updated on a regular basis. i got my kit in like 1 week form when I sent payment and it works great. I vouch for this guys's product but I don't know why he's acting shady lately...

He did help me out a lot though.

I am sorry to all of those who have been waiting to get there kits recently. To cut to the chase I have been having problems with my local supplier who was the best price in town until he decided to jack up the price .75 a foot. I have been purchasing wire off the Internet and it has not been coming as fast as I thought it would. I should be better in future order out now as I have hooked up with a guy in south Tampa. However I will make an alteration to the originating post once I have for sure settled the issues I currently have in making the kit.
