I am selling my megan axle back exhaust because I just found out there is a baby on the way. As you can see it is still installed on my car to the stock b-pipe. The exhaust sounds very nice like this. Has a little growl like a stock G35 or Altima se-r. It is not annoying on the highway and looks much nicer from the rear due to being all stainless steel and with dual tips. I want to sell for 170 plus shipping. There are2 types of 5 gen which is 5 gen itself and 5.5 gen. some of parts are not the same. For example, engine(obviously), intake, cluster, steering wheel, headers (you have to do some modifications in order to fit into a 5.5 gen), fog light, tail light harness, front lip, grill, sometimes even the front sway bar even though with the same SE model, but there are 2 sizes 22mm and 23 mm, and hmm what else? i'm pretty sure i'm missing some parts. but anyway you get it right

Yes you are right indeed. But for some reason the exhaust is exactly the same lol. So the answer is yes, the axle back would work for any 5th gen as well as a full catback.
