WTB: Radio/air control bracket

I need the brackets that hold the radio and air control unit to the car. I will take a pic if anyone doesn't understand what I am looking for. I am trying to replace my HU and the 4 screws in each bracket that hold the radio secured. Well......... they won't come out and they are just about stripped out now but I can still get a grip on them.

I have stood over the top with a 18V cordless drill pushing down with all my weight (I'm pretty hefty) and it does nothin but slip. So what do I do.......I say f*** it and go get new or used s*** from someone else.

Let me know if anyone has this and how much your willing to ship it to me 35151, Thanks

p.s. 2k GLE

Use an oversized bit to drill the scew head out then work the actual screw out of head unit with needle nose pliers. When mounting the new head unit use washers on the new screws.

Sent you a pm on how to get it out. We had to use screwout bits. Blah, what a workout.

I tried about 4 different sizes and none have worked; however I did manage to get one out but none of the others are as nice. I thought about going in through the back and grabbing the part of the screw that sticks out and twisting it with some niddle nose pliers but then I thought oh s*** it will mess the threads up.

I see what you are saying and that is an excellent idea if I could get the pliers on the head. Thanks any more tips or prices?

Can you order replacement brackets?

Just wondering if it's possible to order replacement brackets? From what I see it's a PITA getting the screws out, which I had a problem with. I ended up mangling one of the brackets and would like to order a replacement. The Courtesy site has an illustration of the bracket but they are not clickable so I don't think I could order it from there.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
