Is this for a 3.5 of a 3.0?

no they're not... u can make anyone work but u need modification for some IIRC

 

they will fit both cars. But you will either have to add an egr port or block it depending on the year of the car and the headers.

 

i got em for my 3.0, but they should fit the 3.5 also

 

I want to see them I'm in RI, so I'm close by.

 

only the OBX headers i know of will probebly fit both

i feel ya n im not in anyways saying that ur tryna rip anyone off, but chances are is that the shop ripped u off, i had those exact same headers for my 4th gen (which works great to be honest also dynoed the same as all others) but i paid like $160 for it shipped from Ebay

apparently ebay, i searched 00 maxima headers after that last response and "lo-and-behold" ... there they were

 

the cheapest i could find for 02 was $350 for OBX.. will yours fit a 5.5? i might be interested but not too soon.. i need to save up a little and find out if someone could install these

*edit* i read up and found that 3.0 and 3.5 are the same..

 

headers for 95-03 maxima are all the same. Except for the EGR port. If you buy headers and you have an EGR port make sure the headers have them, if you buy a set with the EGR port and don't need it you can plug it. I have the 4th gen headers on my 03 with the EGR port blocked.

 

 

this is where my noobism comes in... how do u know if your max has an EGR port??? i thought that it was only some 5th gens (Cali spec) come with em and no 5.5 has em... im most likely wrong though

 

and you had no fitment problems???... any dyno numbers???? i might have to cop me some ebay headers yo, all this time i thought they wouldnt work on a 5.5...
