so i bought a headlight restoration kit, tried buffing out some oxidation...have 01 ann ed. but the prob is i wiped the tint off wile i was buffing. were the oem headlights sprayed on like that, or is that something that was done by the previous owner?

 

i believe the previous owner tinted them himself. OEM headlights are Clear. AE editions as well. (Clear)

 

are you 100% positive 01 ae didnt come with a darker headlight?
