The egr bung is plugged for cars that don't have an egr system. However these headers will work with maximas that have an egr system.
P.S
5.5 gen maximas do not have an egr.
bump for you.

These headers and y-pipe were probably on my car for not even 5,000 miles. I had them installed in the summer and totaled my car at the end of Feburary. Well, I didn't total my car...a kid not paying attention rear-ended me.

If you look at the header on the left on the top of the header you'll see where the EGR would go if you had one...But since you have a 5.5 gen, theres nothing to screw into so you just have to block it off by screwing something into the bung.

The way I am calculating shipping for the headers is this...

I go to http://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/home?cc=US&language=en put in my Zip which is 14075. Then put in your Zip and put in multiple packages that aren't equal.

Then you have to put in the dimensions of the items and this is what I use

Headers- Weight-10lbs L-13 in W-12 in H-6 in put that for 2 seperate packages

Y-Pipe- Weight-20lbs L-45 in W-11 in H-6 in

Then you will get an idea of how much it is but if you want I can still figure it out for you guys just pm me and I'll promptly get back to you with a price

I'm curious. Does the header with the EGR port mount on the front or rear of the motor? Thanks.

SCREW NY!(because the rust, chill people) lol. Dang man...I would hate myself if I spent 700+ on headers(not yours but in general) and had them startin to rust in just 5,000 miles... oh well, BUMP for some good deals!
