The point is that there is NOT one made specifically for the 5.5 gen. You either get one JUST like this one and you wire it in, wait for surratt to release a patch harness, or you don't get one at all.
That's why your "wish it was for a 5.5 gen..." comment was pointless. It's just as much for a 5.5 gen as it can possibly get, since this is the UTEC you can patch into our harness.
Bump for you, OP... and to potential 5.5 gen buyers, YES this is the only option you have for your 5.5 gen if you want a UTEC.

I guess I should have written " Wish it was plug and play for the 5.5 gen." I am quite aware that this device is plug and play for 6th gens, and not 5th. I don't have the time nor the capability to wire it in and Surra's pnp harnesses are not out yet. I guess I choose not to get one at all. I appreciate your attention on this and I will make wiser choices when it comes to vernacular.
