FS: Bose HU, Stock Airbox

Sup .Org,

I'm cleaning out some of my basement.

Stock Airbox, good condition, from my 2001 Maxima, comes with filter. - $40 shipped.

Bose Headunit out of my 2001. Plays perfectly, no skips. In fact, my Alpine skips more often than this HU did. - $60 shipped

These prices aren't firm so feel free to make offers.

Thanks guys!

I know I haven't been here long, but my wifes GLE Bose Head unit took a dump after her sh!thead siblings took it for a joyride when I was deployed. Any hope that it's still there and that it'll fit in a 00 GLE?

Thanks much!

This is the husband, AkA: The one who installs expensive parts on the missus car lol. How easy is it to get the old one out? I have been working on fords most of my life, and This will be THE first non-ford car I have worked on regularly. I may ask some stupid questions, but I can offer TONS of advice on most ford vehicles.

Very easy, takes me about four minutes to pull the radio out of my car.

Here are some disassembly instructions from Metra.

By the way, welcome to Maxima.org

Hey, thanks for the install guide, and thanks for the warm welcome. Not to threadjack you, but is there a welcome forum? I didn't spot one in plain sight, but I may have overlooked it.

Unfortunately there isn't a welcome forum, mainly because new members cannot post their own threads until they have at least 15 posts.

Eh, my wife spotted a pioneer H/U she wanted, but I told her we'd come back home and check on this one, but it's gone, so when we head back into town, I'm just gonna pick her up the Pioneer.

Make sure you get the Metra 70-7551 wiring harness because it's the only one that works with the Nissan Bose stereo.
