Alright guys, I got rid of the Maxima so I am selling some parts...I have the OBX V2 headers and y-pipe (the good ones) that were on the car only a few months. Now I am just gonna be upfront and honest about them.

OBX V2 Headers/Y-pipe - SOLD

1. The rear primary O2 sensor has already been moved 90* to the right so you don't have to worry about it hitting the rack and pinion, the weld for the new bung isn't the greatest but it's fine. So you don't have to worry about relocating it.

2. There is a small crack on the bottom of the front header where the bottom of the primaries are welded to the 90* tube, the crack is not all the way through, IT IS NOT LEAKING...but I don't want you not knowing about it.

3. These headers hit the rear engine mount on my car so I took a hammer and hit the pipe in just a small bit. This doesn't hurt a thing, it just helps it clear the mount so you don't rub a hole in the primary or get a lot of vibration. So you won't have to worry about that.

I just wanted to be upfront and honest about these, everything that was done to them any 5.5gen owner would have had to do, so this saves you a lot of work. They are in good shape otherwise.



Then I have the 01 SE taillights, these are just like brand new, only on car couple months. I mean there is no irregularities or anything, they are in perfect shape and will come with all the bulbs.

Sold it and bought a cheap 93 Camry for my commute, and then I'm in the process of buying either a 93-02 F-body again or I've been looking into the 2nd generation 240's a lot here lately...but who knows...my dad is the one who I sold the Maxima too, so I'm sure I'll get it back sooner or later

I saw your thread in the vendors forum about what happened, btw. That sucks, dude...I've been screwed outta stuff way too many times on eBay.

 

I just pmd him with an offer but I also did not notice that there was a crack in the headers....so now Im second guessing.

And yes I am okay with giving them up if he cannot hold them.... but I would like to know more about this crack... before I go through with the offer.

As in why did he sell? He sold them because he sold his Maxima off and went back to stock before doing so.
