Sorry if this is a noob question??? bare with me.

Locally theres a car, an 01 6 speed maxima with a motor that threw a rod. Considering buying it and putting another motor in there. Can a vq35 be dropped in without much issues? any issues? rather get a 3.5 in there than a 3.0 if possible...

Was the tranny swapped in? They didn't have 6spd until 02......

 

theres a car posted on clist here in socal area of an 01 se with a 6 speed tranny and busted motor...ill find out if the tranny was a swap.

 

yeaa.. theres not such thing as a stock 01 with 6 speed. 00-01 5spd/ auto. 02-03 auto or 6spd. good luck.. and it looks like a scam to me bro.
