well the title speaks for itself, i just purchased a pair of 5.5 gen lights for my 00 and i need a harness and clips. i already found the how-to info just need the harness and clips. possibly lookin on the org for a used set? or new?

I just called him yesterday about this. The total came to about 59.XX plus about 3.XX for the clips.

Now, this is a bit odd that the price has doubled within the last..ooh..say year or so? I was researching old threads and people have found the kit for about 30-40 bucks, plus another few bucks for the clips. I find it hard to believe that the same wiring kit was subject to a huge price increase. Whatever I guess, haha.

On a side note, he was supposed to send me an email so I could order, but he I never received one. He must have gotten busy or something, so I looks like I'll be calling him back.

 

wow$60 for the kit that is kinda expensive. but i geuss the law of supply and demand comes into play. may be could talk to him and do a group buy cause i know i need one also.

 

spoke to dave and yes he quoted about $65 for everything. although it is quite expensive, i feel that this is the best route and safest route to go. ill ask if we can get a group deal but who knows what will happen with that...

I also am looking for the harness, you said there was a How-to on doing it? Can someone give me a link or something to it. Ive searched and cant find any thing

I bought my wiring harness off of an 02-03 part-out. If you can't find one, your best bet is probably to just buy from daveb. It's gotta be the quickest as well.

purchased from daveb and installed successfully thanks to the hid retrofit thread. he is the place to go and everything is included. like clips underneath, heat shrink, and wire covers. i paid like $61 total shipped. "do it right the first time"
