FL WTB: 5.5Gen 6-speed tranny
WTB: 5.5Gen 6-speed tranny
So earlier this year, I went to the track, in my 3.5L swapped Sentra, Had a few OK runs, and then managed to blow a hole into the side of my transmission.
In hopes the gears weren't damaged, I tore the tranny apart, found a new casing and put everything back together. Everything inside looked just fine. Drove it around, had some whining, but people said it would go away. Unfortunately, it only got worse over the last few thousand miles, Runs fine, but sounds like a blender. I know it's going to konk out any time, now. I want to have a back-up in my garage.
Obviously, I would like a trans with the HLSD, but I won't be too picky. If the car goes out, it goes out, I've got 2 other vehicles to get me around.
Thanks.

bumping. I need this, now. Current one is toast, went out today, but at least I got to have some fun with a Maserati GranTurismo S.
First gear let go at about 6k, I have absolutely no first gear anymore. I can put it into first, let the clutch out and I may as well be in neutral.
